The 8th Long Night of the images took place on Friday, 2 October 2015. Galleries , studios, workshops and exhibition halls opened their doors until midnight for encounters between artists and audience .
The patronage of the Long Night of the images have taken on Berlin’s mayor Michael Müller and Culture Secretary Tim Renner . Tim Renner opened the event along with Lichtenberg’s district mayor Birgit Monteiro , Culture Councillor Kerstin Beurich and Stefanie Frensch , managing director of HOWOGE housing mbH .
The opening took place on Friday , 2 October , at 17.30 clock in the BLO – Ateliers , Kaskelstraße 55 , 10317 Berlin , instead . Artists who work in the Blo – studios , opening the show for the fire show ” Night Light ” . There are light installations and performances , an auction of art works and a concert .
