It is obiously one of my favourite districts in Berlin. Charming, warm-hearted and friendly. Its welcoming atmosphere is particularly visible in some of the most adorable spots such as Akazienstrasse.

To travel to Schöneberg is very easy. Either you can take the S-Bahn Ring and get out at Schöneberg. After this you walk around 10 till 15 minutes to get to Akazienstrasse. Or you get out at  Bundesplatz, change to U-Bahn U9 and go one stop to Kleistpark. One can get to Kleistpark easily by going by U8. But personally I always prefer to go by Sbahn to see of the city as much as possible.

One of the little suprises that Iiked was the tiny shop with wooden dolls at Langenscheidstraße. One can virutally peep inside the place and watch the shop owner constructing the doll-houses. The room looks as if it had been ready  to welcome visitors curious about the production of the wooden pieces. The walls of the room are decorated with paintings by German painter. Not only is he a friendly host but also willing to tell about his work and history of Berlin.
