Volkspark am Weinberg also calles Weinbergspark ist the only Volkspark (park of the peoples) in eastern part of Berlin Mitte. It has a surface of 4,3 ha. It is enclosed by the Weinbergweg in the South East, Brunnenstrasse in South West and die Veteranenstraße in the North East and Fehrbelliner Straße in the North East The name comes from the fomer vineyards had been cultivated there.
The lawn is situated on the southwestern slope is mainly used in the summer by many local residents . Below the lawn is an artificial pond , above a Swiss restaurant , the Rose Garden , a playground and the sports center with football pitch , all of which are used intensively
